A professional Blue Badge guide for Devon & Cornwall, a Green Badge guide for Plymouth and a Tour Director since 2001, I combine international experience with the highest guiding qualifications in the UK.
I call Devon home and am thrilled to be a Devon & Cornwall Blue Badge guide as well as a Green Badge guide for Britain's Ocean City; Plymouth.
I've been working as a professional Tour Director since 2001, leading tours for teenagers and adults across the world. Over the years, my career has taken me to China, South America, Africa, and the Middle East, alongside decades of experience in London, Paris, and across Mediterranean Europe.
I've lived and worked in both Madrid and Barcelona and speak fluent Spanish. I guide in Spanish as well as English and have extensive experience working with international clients from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
Alongside leading tours, I've designed bespoke itineraries for the world's largest student travel company and trained their Tour Directors. I've also worked for one of the most highly awarded multinational coach touring companies in the industry, whose honours include repeated recognition as Best International Tour Operator and Best Tour Operator in England, delivering itineraries to the highest professional standards.
In addition, I have extensive experience designing and delivering tailored itineraries for cruise ship guests, including shore excursions across the West Country. This work demands a high level of organisation, adaptability, and calm decision-making — skills that remain central to how I guide today.

For the past 20 years, my life and work have been rooted in the South West of England. I am a Blue Badge professional guide for Plymouth, Britain's Ocean City, and a Blue Badge Guide for Devon and Cornwall. The Blue Badge is the highest guiding qualification in the UK and is widely recognised for the depth of knowledge, professional standards, and rigorous training it represents.
Although I grew up just outside London, I was drawn back to my paternal roots in South Devon — and after 20 years here, I can't imagine living anywhere else. I've kept Dartmoor ponies and spent years exploring the moors, coastlines, villages, and lesser-known corners of Devon and Cornwall. As an actor, gardener, and keen sports enthusiast, I have a deep appreciation for both the natural landscapes and the cultural richness of the region — its history, stories, traditions, and people.
Everything I do as a guide is shaped by experience, curiosity, and a genuine love for this part of the world — shared with care, insight, and enthusiasm.
